If this was a 'genuine mistake' it was a pretty stupid one. Footballers can be very stupid at times.... Jermaine Pennant once left a Porsche at an railway station for five months with the keys inside in the car and forgot about it, when asked why he hadn't moved it he said "my porsche? forgot I even owned one".... if only we all had that luxury.
 
Thanks, Fulhaman ... last night's was the one game this year I was planning to see in person, but 4 hours up (minimum) and another 4 hours back talked me out of it. Maybe in the next Europa Cup round I'll find a game closer to home (near Frankfurt).
