Nah! That would include resigning Ugbo. Anyway where is jck this year? And more importantly, Masky , Masky, wherefore art thou Masky?
Don't know about Masky but someone whose full name includes the initials jck was posting on the CardiffCityForum.com site. In less than a week they were fed up with his nonsense and wanted him banned.
Was his rhetoric in a similar vein to our jck? The kast thing he said here was fairly sensible, I recall!!!
You are either very pi$$ed or way too kind FfB. I don't recall the muppet saying anything remotely sensible. His postings on the other forum were simply an update on the trash he foisted on us. It appears their posters did not have the patience of ours and wanted out pronto Tonto. It was clearly our jcktwat with the initials of his full name being J C K. Now, more interestingly, have you gained revenge on the Manc who gave you a ducking yesterday or are you waiting to serve the dish cold?
Difficult really! He keeps apologising and, of course, I'm way too kind. But his last post was about Bulut and his purchases and that he would get behind him.
Curious remarks by Bulut on the striker sent out to Belgium. On the one hand he says it was a club signing (whatever that means but if it means the non footballing experts at the club bought him with no input from Bulut then that’s bizarre) but on the other he says he’s not ready for Cardiff so off he went to Belgium?
I'll always want us to win. But the longer he stays the longer the damage. I think we will go down anyway. Too much damage already done. But he has to go.
I'm still 80/20 in favour of Erol staying and seeing out the job he's started here. I'm seeing enough in our games so far to provide confidence that we'll be absolutely fine this season. We are trying to define a totally new way of playing, whilst integrating new players and starting to slowly bring through some of the younger players too. Yes, right now it's all still a bit too slow and ponderous a lot of the time but genuine partnerships and patterns of play take time to become second nature, it sure as hell doesn't happen in 4 or 5 games!! When the Jacks brought in Martinez and he started playing this way they went through the very same kind of doubts and had the same grumbles, but look how well it laid the foundations for years to come. Burnley under Kompany had exactly the same... It took several months to really start gelling and they suffered some awful results. Whilst Erol isn't new anymore, what he's trying to do this season is. Last season was all about make do and mend, and just try to survive, which we did comfortably in the end. Hell, we're only 4 or 5 points off mid table and 8 off the playoffs with 41 games still to go... If it was 4 games left then yep, maybe it'd be time for panic but right now it's time for patience.
I agree 100% with this. At the start of the season I can remember many Bluebirds saying that a change or even introduction of style was essential and that patience would be required. To my mind, that was the correct idea as transitioning is usually a hard and painful process. However, despite the obvious changes being made and a really difficult fixture list to start the season, that patience has already dried up. From what I see, we are making progress and with 41 games to go, there's plenty of time. I can't see the logic in throwing in relegation fears so early in the season. I'm also confused by some of the calls to bring back Colin. Ok he's a good guy and got us promoted out of a very poor championship. However, his tenure is largely the cause for us having to redefine ourselves again. Obviously, this endeavour has been hindered by our boardroom. Surely though, we can't go back to hoofball and have start the process all over. I'm still behind Erol. Bloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooobirds
I was one of those Cling, and I would have been happy for performance over results. However, 1 goal could not be construed as performance. The best performance and return came when the youngsters were left to have their head against Southampton. Some of the selections are baffling. Robinson looked sharp in pre-season and has got our only goal, yet is marginalised. The youngsters bring some spark but get few minutes. Robertson had a good season last year, which I assume is why we bought him, yet Ralls and Siopis start ahead of him. Erol is looking for defensive solidity over attack, yet we get neither. If we were losing like Everton it would be one thing. He needs to take the handbrake off. If the defensive midfielders aren't going to contribute to clean sheets, we might as well put two forward thinking players in there and create more. I doubt we'd ship any more goals, and we might score a few. Going back to players we've let go, how are Derby or Oxford faring with our castoffs? They're obviously worse than what we signed.
It's not panic. We have been garbage since about Nov 23. There are no partnerships being built , he's not bringing through young players. He should have gone when last seasons whipping boys put 5 on us in May. We survived because of late wins and set pieces and we are now useless at set pieces. The football is garbage. The worst I can remember for many years. He needs sacking very quickly. These players are hopelessly coached. We have been utter sh!t in virtually every game bar Southampton when he played our youngesters. Hopefully Saturday the fat lady sings.
Is it too much to ask to be entertained and not trudge up to the ground expecting to be beaten every time? Last season only the swansea, Coventry & Bristol City games were enjoyable to watch as we were always on the front foot. I don’t count the miraculous late wins v Ipswich & Soton as they should have been out of sight before our late goals. Apart from being tossed aside easily by the likes of Leeds, Leicester and Boro etc it was the timid displays against Birmingham, Blackburn, Preston etc which rankled - monotonous, dull and sluggish football. Bulut has failed to acquire what City desperately need; a striker. Bulut stubbornly plays this awful slow sideways and backwards stuff from the keeper. It’s painful to watch. Whether Bulut stays or not is immaterial really because the root of all our troubles is the running of the football side of the club. Until the club sort out the footballing strategy within the club from boardroom to pitch City will do nothing but tread water and only by a miracle stave off relegation. My glass is definitely half empty and only a change of football strategy can possibly save the season.
They are not all worse though. Harris and James Collins(who can't get in the Derby Team) are miles better than Kanga. Nelson is miles better than Chambers and Goutas.
Bulut's press conference today. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...kCopy&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar Very defensively aggressive. Bit of a Custer's Last Stand. Who will be the Sitting Bull? No clue as to what he is going to do to get us out of this mess. Lots of excuses. I guess the fat lady is lubricating her tonsils.
