The single thing I despise (not hate, literally I despise) so far about slot is seeing two big giant cbs crowding a keeper who can't be touched or it is a free then trying to run away from goal to get a glancing header.

If we score anything from these corners I'll be shocked.

We've managed to wipe out the one big source of gaols no low block can stop.

Forest couldn't defend a corner worth a damn and still can't. We got one header vvd eas trying to run out from goal and glances weakly wife.

We should be well happy sides play narrow and deep with two massive targets like vvd and konate who are then backed with szobo and gravenberch.

Win corners and sling them in and attack them.

The merest touch on a keeper amd we get blown up as well.

This is winding me up a bit too tbh, and not even a hint of an out-swinger no matter how **** the last half dozen were. You have to mix it up in game imo, or it just becomes simple to defend.

I'd take

AC Milan Away do not lose
Bologna Home Must win
RB Leipzig Away. Do not lose.
Bayer 04 Leverkusen Home - must win
Real Madrid Home - try not to be beaten too bad.
Girona Away fake city. - bastard 4th seed team. This is must win but we won't.
Lille 1:30 must win
PSV Eindhoven Away - will be interesting.

If we get 12-14 points out of this I'd be OK with it at this point. It's a rotten draw we got.

I thinknwe can get through but people are not really seeing how tough the draw has been compared to others.

We struggled against that type of defending so often with Klopp, so it must be a problem the players have. Klopp never really found the answer to it consistently. It'll be interesting to see if Slot can, though I'm not expecting tonight's game to be similar.
 
We might expect at least a point tonight, but really doesn't matter who we get points against and who we drop them against as long as we get enough. If we lose tonight, it's not "season-over".

Interested in seeing how Gakpo does under Slot.

Not gonna lie, he wasn't exactly my favourite player under Klopp but maybe I didn't give him a fair chance - when he played in his preferred position he was just starting out at Liverpool, and then he predominantly played out of position.

Changes up top and at the back, but the same midfield.

Could have done with some fresh legs in the middle I feel.
