Ahh, so just saved up all your holidays? Pretty good idea, if you can manage to work all through the summer that is! Bet that was a bit of a struggle. Least you've got a whole month to sit and lounge now though! I'll have a lot of work to do but I've already resigned myself to the fact I'm going to do nothing but eat masses of ham and drink gallons of wine. And I can't wait. Is miniOT very excited for Christmas yet?
Thankfully the weather during the summer wasn't great so that helped when sitting in the office at weekends. The few weeks it was sunny and warm was tough as the air was full of the smell of BBQ's. MiniOT is really excited for Xmas but she's off to the Carribean tomorrow for two weeks with her granddad who won a cruise in a competition. She can't watch TV without saying 'Can I have that?' when a toy advert is on.
And that image would be pretty spot on Wow, didn't know people actually ever won those cruise competitions... Least it gets her of your hair just before xmas though! And, to be honest, I'm like that at the minute. Less toys, though. More.. cool things. Although did have an overwhelming urge to get lego the other day...
My Ex girlfriend has a little sister who was the same age last Christmas. ****ing mental is all I have got to say really A lot of fun being able to act like a kid again but she did the same as you describe MiniOT doing, if we ever went out with her every single shop 'can i have that' 'can we go in there' (I usually joined in ) etc etc. Can't imagine what it must be like getting it all the time as a parent
I banned Lego. Took her to Legoland in Windsor and she bought some toys. She then lost 1 piece so couldn't complete the toy and the screaming fit ensured it was off the present list. Banned Play-doh as well and anyone who gives it to her as a gift will die. My friend in Singapore know this and sends it every year... the bastard. It destroys everything it dries onto!
! The brilliant thing with lego is though that you can just build something else out of it without all the pieces! Might not look good, mind, but there ya go. I'm quite jealous. Would love to go to Legoland. There's a Lego Discovery Centre in the Trafford Centre here that has rides and attractions apparently (which is weird, I think, because the entrance is tiny and it's indoors), but I think it's expensive so that's probably a no go And I never had Play-doh as a kid! Always seemed a very weird thing to have...
Try having three lasses always nagging you in different ways for different things, her for me being a muppet, not taking her out (usual craic) etc , her sister because she wants to play on the trampoline or her Mother because i didn't have a job at the time and she genuinely thought I was gay. Some of the reasons she is now an ex
Ouch Bit wounding when the mother of your girlfriend thinks you're gay! I get along with my girlfriend's family I think, ish.. Absolutely hate her sister though, and tend to not really speak to anyone else But y'know. I'm lovely, they can't hate me.
You should know I think it actually was the fact that I seemed ''too nice'' , got on with them too well and was really friendly that actually made her think I batted for your side.
Damn you all I waited for someone to say something as soon as I said the word 'girlfriend' Surprised it took everyone so long, to be honest
I've was always wary about meeting a girlfriends father for the first time ever since one of them said to me "So your having sex with my daughter then" by way of an introduction. I tried to deny that any sex had taken place but my blushing complexion and sly grin gave it away. I've told my wife, for the sake of miniOT's sanity and our relationship I'm not allowed to know if she's dating.
I picked her up from school a week or so ago and found that she has a boyfriend and she held his hand. She's a tart
