UEFA have threatened to ban English clubs and the England National Team from competing in European tournaments if the government goes ahead with its plans to introduce a football watchdog:

Whatever you think of the current government - or the last one - this was in the manifesto of BOTH, so it’s one of the few things that Labour and the Tories agree on.

I wonder what UEFA are so afraid of?
