Rumour has it that there's even worse to come in the budget around inheritance tax. The current tax-free threshold is £325k (+ £175k when passing on to your kids) then 40% on tax on anything else, but some voices - Dan Neidle, for instance - saying it may/should be scrapped altogether,..
Many years ago I was diagnosed with an over acidic stomach and banned from drinking spirits and eating very hot curries for at least six months, after a revisit I was told I could drinks spirits as long as it was with a mixer, before that used to drink it poured over some ice and I could go back to curries etc if they were the mild variety, it has been so long now that if I try a really hot curry it burns my throat and gives me instant indigestion and its the same with neat spirits
Robbing bastards Starmer was asked about taxing working classes and he replied he would not tax working people, when asked to define his definition of the working classes he virtually said working people who needed benefits and or public transport Everyone else would get rinsed
I started claiming my pension back in August and am still working, they are taking £200 per month out of my wages as a tax on the pension i have already paid for. It's a total farce, God knows how much i will be rinsed for after the budget.
We’re getting robbed by private energy providers, many of them foreign owned. Same with our railways, Water Companies, Postal Service etc.
Income tax is the only tax based on people's ability to pay and yet both Tories and Labour demonise it in favour of selective taxation. Having said that, people on PAYE get the worst deal on income tax because they have little ability to avoid it by including their expenses or purchases.
Me neither. I’m too unimaginative to game the system or wangle a free ride, though God knows I have tried
Yeah Sucky is very knowledgable on gaming the system. My only worry personally would be someone snopping around bank accounts. Don't know to what extent they can do that, but I know the Tories were trying to push through legislation for it. I also know 'unofficially' it has been done in certain circumstances.
