Carsley is gonna get the job permanently isn’t he.

Even though anyone would have won the two easy games England have had.

I'm glad he's got off to a good start, nowt worse than fans being on your back from the off.

Gives him chance to settle into the job, until he sees the make up and shape of team he wants to take forward, then the difficult decisions begin, which is the main test of character.

Oh definitely.
Typical of the FA.
"Well this guys won every game, he seems to be doing alright and he bends over and doesnt insist we use lube, lets hire him".
England will definitely give him the job full time, because he is a no mark, a yes man and likely mediocre, which the FA love for some reason.
I agree anyone would have won those two games with this squad. The turd I did this morning could have managed England to two friendly victories against Ireland and Finland. And lets be real, they are friendlies, this ****ing Nations League BS <laugh>

Enjoying the Bellamy era even though it's early days and a lot can go wrong. I've been a fan of him since seeing him play at Norwich I just like his attitude on the pitch and it's good to see that he wants his team to go out and play with a similar attitude.

No point going out to defend as a small nation, have to attack and see if you can cause problems.

Sort of a Jamie Vardy ... without the title <whistle>

True dat.
Same goes with small clubs in the PL too.
Leeds for example, when they came up last time, they survived their first season because they went at teams and attacked.
You aint gonna keep out players like Toney, Salah, Haaland, Saka, Palmer, Son etc with a championship defense, so its best to attack them and try outscore them.
Yeah you will get the odd 6-1 pasting against the big sides like City etc, but what difference does it make if you defend and lose to City 2-0, or attack and lose 6-2? but against the mid and lower clubs you are gonna accrue more points by scoring goals.
It doesnt always work, you still need quality (look at Luton last season, who just missed out on survival), but I think if you have a subpar squad its best to go at teams.

Didn't know Vardy was a winger, I don't pay much attention though.

Neither was Bellamy ...

... but funnily enough, Nigel Pearson used Vardy as one during our 'miraculous survival' in 2014/15 ... Ranieri then gave him the central striker role in 2015/16 ...

However, my tongue in cheek analogy had more to do with their shared ability / character traits - niggly little ****ers adept at winding up both opposition players and fans but loved by their own supporters for 'giving it their all' when wearing the shirt ...

Anyone bored to tears with the international break yet?!
yup. I get hella pissed when I finish work on a friday and go see what the weekends PL viewing has in store for me, only to see zero fixtures and a bunch of International bullshit.
International football makes me seethe.....am not ashamed to say it.
