Question …… Should a manager or player be banned from representing their country for not singing the national anthem?
Personally, l think they should be banned if they refuse.

we get two songs and a dance before sporting events
and any other event they can shoehorn a haka into
check out the bloke on the left practicing his knee bends and air guitarI’d like to see the football and cricket teams do a haka. Maybe even the Kiwi golfers before majors. Oooh look at us doing a little dance pretending to be warriors- grow up.

always over, not even up for discussionI think the main criteria should be winning football matches. I place singing the national anthem somewhere between their choice of hummus and whether they place their toilet roll up and over or down and under.

I wonder if Ricky Gervais has seen this - pure The Office and some. Makes me laugh every time I see it and illustrates just how far we’ve moved on thankfully. There's only one true Haka in world sport...

Nah.....
I can understand why Carsley didn't sing God Save the King yesterday as he played 40 times for ROI and it would've probably upset a few of the natives.....
BTW none of the Spanish players ever sing their national anthum, hasn't done them any harm....
There are no words to the Spanish National Anthem, Trammers, so that makes life easy for the players in the Spanish national team. Maybe just the right-hand over the heart, I dunno?
