Umpires taking players off because they're protecting themselves against possible legal action by a player who may suffer an injury. What have we allowed ourselves to come to?
Vaughan and Cook spoke well about it on TMS - albeit Cook's idea was to "sign a waiver and just get on with it"
Moeen Ali retires from international cricket. https://x.com/TheBarmyArmy/status/1832676150805504018?t=0pxkBSMUjyY7Bcli31vjZQ&s=19 Play just resuming now
Where is the common sense with umpires? SL keeper injured. Needs treatment. Spends about 15 minutes getting treatment and getting off the field. Start playing again, 5 minutes later take a drinks break? Utterly ridiculous
Arrogant nonsense from England the last 2 days. Sri Lanka will win and will deserve the win by playing proper test cricket
I know these things often get rescued at the last minute but currently there are no broadcasters wanting to show the Pakistan - England test series in October. 6am starts with 1pm finishes so its not like its overnight. Sky, TNT and Channel 4 have all declined to bid and said they won't due to the costs of putting in the right production.
