Yeah well said mate
So simple to take off pensioners
When there not physically able to earn money
Just let them sit in the chair and rot
And don’t get me on about council tax
It’s a disgrace pensioners should erepay it at all
Since Labour got in we have sat through an absolute s hit show, total silence from the Labour lads on here, hiding from the embarrassment I imagine. Especially the ones that were saying i call out every government I don’t care who they are, total silence, so we know where their vote went. On the flip side look at the s hite the Tories are putting forward to be leader. Makes you want to weep.

Surprised we havent seen a Starmer thread to be honest... Early signs are worrying imo

As a Labour voter, I'm a bit stunned how things are going. The pensioners' fuel allowance move was poor thinking. A few misjudgements so far and it's disappointing to not at least get some feel-good factor going.
I'm afraid 'feel good factor' and the Labour party rarely appear in the same sentence, and it's been the same going back to WW2.

I don't know, the earlier days of Blair's government weren't bad. Might be the age I was then being a factor and just pleased Labour had got in after only really knowing Thatcher. I was born in the 70s so was too young to realise what was going on back then. I have some hazy memories of power cuts and candles a few times.

It genuinely makes me feel proud to say I’m from Sunderland. Don’t know how it happened in my hotel room mind but a bit of sand just flew into my eye.

Its just when you see players like Rusyn, who can't be having the best of times, still have a smile and a thumbs up for the lad. O'Nien and Dodds in conversation. Wish the video was longer.

Chelsea have left Cole Palmer out of their Conference League squad for the group stages…

The early Wilson years were also some of the best I have lived through, as with Corbyn, Wilson was brought down from Factions ( different ones ) within and the ever ready Tory propaganda machine .
I have never trusted the Quisling Starmer, and still don't a clever back stabber and little else, he is about as labour as Maggie Thatcher imo.

Sad news regarding Guinness Guzzler, he's stepping away from Rawa SMB Rep due to mental health issues... hopefully he can come through this and contribute again.
Aye, all the best to him Blondie. Came across like a really decent bloke. The same good wishes go out to everyone who is finding mental health a struggle. Keep talking to people, folks.
