Nah, no way that's getting a press embargo. Think it's wishful thinking. If the judges have literally said that, having had weeks to hear the evidence and go through the PL rule book with a fine tooth comb then PSR and APT rules would be dead in the water. Let's be honest, Man City's case would be thrown out immediately too in order to save further expenditure and costs because the PL would be and have been acting illegally all along. Forest and Everton would then be straight out asking for financial compensation on lost places etc too, in addition to wanting their legal fee's back.
So just a note, Premier League - fresh from bitching about Leicester not playing fair - have waved through chelsea selling hotels to themselves to reduce their losses by £75m. So there’s that.
Also read somewhere today that manure were allowed to deduct exceptional losses against their accounts that no other pl club were given , one was covid etc. and another was about that prick buying into the club. Without these being allowed by pl they would have been well over psr
**** me, that doesn’t stink at all does it? Surely the rest of the PL clubs can kick up a massive stink about this? If nothing else i guess it sets a precedent but i still hate the term “fair market value”, I mean who the **** even decides what that is and how you measure that? Selling Isak or Bruno to one of our Saudi owners other clubs in Saudi next summer for £200m each should be absolutely no ****ing trouble at all then!
From Paul Mitchell: “"I have a few more grey hairs because of the level of ambition that we actually have. He (Yasir Al-Rumayyan) is as ambitious and enthused as ever. I only know from my interaction - I can't speak for anyone else's - but he's super ambitious and he wants us to perform at the number one level. "He wants us to perform not only through the money we spend - he wants us to be best in class across everything we do, whether that be youth development, the women's team, scouting and recruitment, data and insight, coaching, innovation. He wants our position to be at the top, but to be there for the reasons that people admire as a really well-oiled, well-executed machine of a football operation. That for me came across in his message. "He's a very smart man. I think he can see that the club is growing, but he's smart enough to know it's moved very quickly over a very short period of time. He knows infrastructure is important. He knows people are important. He knows a higher overarching framework and strategy are crucial to get to where we want to get to. Using terminology like that shows there's a plan and patience. You have to then deliver and execute across that plan and timescale, but he's a very intelligent owner."
Certainly sounds like PIF are in it for the long haul from reading that. Not sure quite how that translates into the here and now and what we see week in week out on the pitch and ultimately what that means for our current manager and backroom set up. Sounds like as long as EH etc are towing the line, not making waves behind the scenes and we're consistently in the top 4-8 league positions from season to season that over time (3-5 years maybe) we will see gradual but sustained progress. We might not like some of what we see/hear (a fraction of which is probably the truth) but we'll just have to suck it up and trust the process I guess....same as Eddie Howe et al probably have to. Hopefully that means ageing players (wrong side of 30) coming to the end of their contracts are going to see less and less game time as they are slowly phased out, sent out on loan etc or better still sold on for whatever we can get for them rather than seeing players like Hendricks, Fraser, Hayden and Lascelles etc having their contracts renewed. All this being said, we could be looking at a totally different landscape in a years time when legal cases (Citeh) are all out in the open and hopefully settled and whatever comes in to replace PSR is in place and getting bedded in. We'll still be getting ****ing shafted by the PL and VAR as well as Sky ****ing us about with fixtures and making us travel to Bournemouth and Southampton on a wet and windy ****ing Monday night for an 8 o clock kick off in Nov or Feb but that's par for the course with us innit?
See Todd looks like he’s away to be out on his arse at Chelsea as Clearlake want to buy him out after a falling out
And Boehly who was banging his girlfriend? I cannot believe the rumours you start, I wouldn't stand for it Roly.
It's according to The Sun, however there is no quotes whatsoever and their info comes from "club sources".
TBF if Mitchell had any gripes it should have been kept in house. If I were the Saudi’s I wouldn’t be too impressed by the Mitchell interview.
