This style was always going to be horrific in the PL. Sack Martin in the summer, by all means (Leicester got incredibly lucky to get Maresca taken from them, so they could ditch this style). But having given him the summer transfer window, you can't then sack him straight away. That's ludicrous. We've made our bed.

Yeah this was so blatantly obvious from about 5 games into last season. “Martin will adapt and be flexible, look at the playoffs” etc chat, he may adapt slightly but his whole style is based off the build up from the back so he’s never ditching that
