OK, under 3 days left of the window. It's been pretty good so far. A 9 with decent record would be the cherry on top. Maybe a LB. Anyone with any hot tips or a bit of onside information?
Don't know about in, but Wintle out........................... https://londonnewsonline.co.uk/spor...deal-for-cardiff-city-midfielder-ryan-wintle/
Sounds like Bulut and Wintle didn’t get on. If he signs for Millwall will Harris let him play every game? I don’t think so. Anyway, good luck to him. He did a decent job for us.
I think Willock, El Ghazi and Robertson are an upgrade on last season. Not sure we'll lose a lot with Deland replacing McGuiness, and we'll have a few £M profit. I can only assume Fish is seen as a longer term replacement for Goutas with Chambers stepping in immediately. The CB situation is a bit muddled, but Chambers and Deland look suited to a more progressive style of football. It's early days for Kanga but he's no worse than Ugbo and Diedhou (?). We still need an upgrade though. So, yeah, a pretty good window. I think the mixture of youth and experience signed bodes well. Could it have been better? Always. Could also have been worse.
As I said a few days ago, Stansfield from Fulham. Scored against his loan club of last season, Birmingham, in the Karibou Cup last night. Didn't celebrate. Nice gesture.
I'm sure Colwill will have turned a number of Premier heads tonight. I'm not sure he's PL quality just yet and he may not get a lot of game time. However, unfortunately money talks I guess .
Winttle loan finalised. Why can we never sell someone. He's still got a year when he comes back. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/cardiff-city-star-ryan-wintle-29827013
If it were the manager of an established PL team I'd agree. He'd be foolish to go to the saints. He'd be playing us next season.
