Hmm, no he isn't (sorry to burst the wishful thinking bubble) - Dharmesh is much more well-informed with Arsenal ongoings than Romano. He just lifts things from other sources and amplifies them, and sometimes gets thrown things from agents who want them in the public domain. I'll believe something is happening with Ramsdale when it comes from someone like David Ornstein, Dharmesh Sheth, James McNicholas from The Athletic

(btw, the brother of James McNicholas is Charlie McNicholas, who is Aaron Ramsdale's agent - so if James says anything, then we can take it seriously)
That his how Romano started out but because of his profile he does now seem to be the first to break stories - as well as still taking from other sources and shouting louder.

Perhaps Sheth does know more RE Arsenal though, I wouldn't know specifics at Sky but in general they know close to very little.

I’m baffled that there seem to be several Saints fans out there who are questioning whether Ramsdale is worth it as a signing. Seems mad. Such an obvious goalkeeper upgrade

Does it rely on really buying into the “he can’t really use his feet” thing?

SaintsWeb? They’re rarely happy, if ever

Whatever, can we just have a regular and reliable goalkeeper week in week out please?

Yeah. I think there have been a few questioning it on here but not as vocally. But I do sometimes blend the sites together. There are also a couple of people who post on both with similar or the same username as well which doesn’t help my confusion!

Playing with his feet is part of it, loan fee, wages, obligation to buy cost etc... I am not against Ramsdale joining if RM and SR are bought into him as the best solution.

Yeah the finances are more of the concern really but that’s with our accountants. It was reassuring to see the mentions on Sky that we have 4 or 5 on a list. I’d expect that though

In all honesty, a lad of his age and ability should be playing for someone even if it isn't us. It's daft.

Presumably the £7m of add-ons (within that overall figure of £25m) are heavily based on us staying up.
