Looks like its finally happening. Announcement at 8:00am on 27.8.24.

I know they're not everyone's cup of tea but I still believe the demand will be incredible.

I hope it's not just London dates and there are some options up north.

Personally, absolutely buzzing with it with them being my all time favourite bands.

See you down the front. <cheers>

Demand will be massive. I do “Don’t look back in anger” occasionally, but can’t stand it! Don’t like much of their stuff outside of morning glory tbh as it’s “samey”!

Hope it happens. There’s a dearth of good bands around at the moment. Poor old Coldplay have been flogged to death because it seems there’s no one else to headline the big festivals.

And hopefully they put on a better performance than the last time they showed up. Kasabian wiped the floor with them.

Kasbabain shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence. Probably why they support TBH. Some canny tunes but not enough depth for me. Plus, without Tom now, it's just serge oh yeahing at the front.

Be gutted if it's just 10 nights at Wembley / Heaton Park and a couple at Ethiad.

I was at V Festival in 2009 and saw their last ever full gig in Stafford on the Saturday, remember when the news broke that they hadn't turned up in Chelmsford on the Sunday night. You could tell on the Saturday something was really off with Liam and Noel.

Just hoping the tickets aren't too extortionate!

Kasabian were very special around that time too, not the same now.

Not comparing the back catalogue although Kasabian have more variety to their sound.

Seen Oasis twice and was let down on both occasions. Hopefully it's the original lineup rather than the pretty green boys.

Seen them at the Sol but gonna have to move heaven and earth to see them again. I’m rusty with big ticket manoeuvres now so if you have any strategies for getting these lemme know :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I’m thinking presale and the likes of o2 / stadium signups. I’m going deep!

any olduns like me remember oasis’s first TV appearance ?

the Word was my favourite show back then and I’d always try and get the last bus back from the town to catch it on Friday nights. Was 17 when I seen this and I thought who the hell is this !

Awesome band...great songs... The pair of them are first class ****houses...but that doesn't detract from their musical ability.

I remember the Beatles first TV appearance, just a shame they never ran out of money.

Part of me believes they have actually been getting on for a while and waiting for the optimum moment (financially) to get the band back together. The demand for tickets will be insane...so will be the ticket prices
