I don't understand this false rivalry with Leeds U, they do not see us as rivals, in fact we are not even on their radar and why should we as we have have very little history with them? I don't remember many City fans losing sleep when we signed Billy Bremner from leeds and didn't Chris Galvin and Ken De Mange play for them too? I remember a little fella called Stoker who we also signed from them, I bet many on here dont? Did many Leeds fans kick off when Don Revie became thier manager saying '**** that he played for Hull'?Perhaps some of Coopers negative comments on leaving were caused by him having been overlooked by Steve Bruce in favour of his son.
Don’t forget Alex Bruse was also at Leeds prior to coming here.
Also yesterday’s MOTM was at Leeds at the start of his career but I don’t sense much hatred towards him.
None of the Brain Team (except A Dawson ...if he has a say] will be aware of the history so there must be some logic to their decision to sign him.
I think Dundee are a great team. McCowan would start for Hull. Hearts have got Shankland who is decent. There’s good players in the Scottish Premiership.Good standard? You must be easily pleased...I live in scotland and watch loads up here. If you take out the old firm then the rest are league 1 standard.
AgreedBit harsh, ploughs as much money in as he can and tries to keep fans happy.
Free travel, kids days, wants attacking football, open and honest, signs (for the most part) good players.
He's a quality owner.

It's all rubbish and I know we all know some local knobhead who parades about in a Leeds kit, I just see them as inadequates, and its not so very long back when I read an advert from the 'Hull Whites' asking for car share offers because they could no longer fill a mini bus for games.
A fit Liam Cooper is as good as we are going to get on a free transfer and with his size and experience I don't think he's a bad shout. Not many Hull born lads have played Premier League football and those questioning his ability certainly haven't played anywhere near that standard.

Don’t know if this has been posted. It’s also probably bollocks.
That was the surprise.Wait so the surprise is a keeper and not a striker? Jesus
One of my grandsons is in City academy but tells me he supports Manchester United.
Can this board tell me what I should do.
Should I disown him?
The fact that he’s demonstrated an ability to play either side should surely be a strong enough reason to keep him around as a good option off the bench. I suppose it will depend on who else we bring in though. He’s also a left winger primarily, he’d usually cut in and shoot so he’s adapting to that too.
He can actually get beyond his man which is what’s frustrating about Millar at present. The few times he tried to go on the outside he was outmuscled. Do think he’s still getting upto sharpness though as he didn’t have a pre season.
We’ve looked better in every game having them 2 on the pitch at the same time. Thought Coyle, Slater and Jarv linked up very well in the second half.
Why?
Tell him that he will spend his life never knowing true joy, and will have an unrealistic expectation for success and when success happens he will feel nothing. Should do the trick. One of my grandsons is in City academy but tells me he supports Manchester United.

I remember (Gareth?) Stoker. A proper little midfield terrier. Got stuck in and lifted the crowd.I don't understand this false rivalry with Leeds U, they do not see us as rivals, in fact we are not even on their radar and why should we as we have have very little history with them? There has rightly been no mention of him going out on loan. He’s taking his chance when he gets it, albeit he was naff in the cup which disappointed me. But in terms of pure wingers we should absolutely be keeping him around. Imagine a tired full back having to play against his pace last 20 or soThe fact that he’s demonstrated an ability to play either side should surely be a strong enough reason to keep him around as a good option off the bench.
