Someone abuses me, so i respond, but after my response the thread gets closed, call that freedom of speech?

On that thread i did not abuse anybody, so what has this site turned into Democracy or Dictatorship?

Seemed to me that you lot were a great bunch of guys with certain differing opinions, but when my opinion in certain peoples eyes does not match their views, it seems like Big Brother is watching.

I will gladly still contribute to this site (SCFC), but only if other people can accept other peoples views, if not what is the point.

I closed that thread as requested by Smither's <ok>

    1. I ONLY gave my point of view on YOUR comments.
    2. I didn't delete your comments did I?
    3. I RESPECT your views always have, always will do.
    4. IF I don't like your comment, I and everyone else has a right to respond. So do YOU Huthy.
    5. I didn't ASK to be a Moderator and would GLADLY pass it over to another Stoke fan.
    6. As mentioned by Ric... I didn't DELETE your comment, nor did i ASK that you be banned Huthy.
    7. I closed the thread for ONE reason, it's been there a couple of days, run it's course and Smither's wanted it shut down.

    8. Keep posting Huthy, just because we don't always agree doesn't me I don't respect you oppinions, just sometimes I don't agreee.

That, is what makes this world go around. As you said, I too have other interests other than SCFC and if these stupid arguments don't stop I will just delete my account.

KTF Huthy <ok> Like you and the rest on here. I support Stoke but I'm not going to waste any more time trying to sort out stupid arguments.

    Right chaps (again)

I also had demons in my head years ago when i had 3 very young kids (2,4 & 6), & at times i could not see away out of things, but there was allways just a little thing in my head that kept on replying " no you can get through this".

Eventually, don't know if you call it courage or common sense, but i told the wife my feelings & what i felt, after loads of tears & talking, she straight away next morning booked me in the doctors.

Well i wont carry on with what happened, but i am still here & yes at times i still get the demons back.

All i was trying to say was there is help out there & with that help & self positive thinking, then the worst will not happen.

I was not trying too disrespect Mr Speed & yes my condolances do go to his family, just a pity that he did not realise earlier that there is helpout there, if you are prepared to admit you have a problem/problems.

So sorry guys i guess my initial explanation of not saying RIP gary, came out totally wrong.

    <applause><applause> well said Huthy.

To totally empathise with your last, had/have a similar problem.

Potts knows this story, wasn't going to mention it to anybody else, but here goes, 2 years ago I had an operation on my lower spine, which was not successful, on morphine and other stuff sor 6 months and that does meess with your head, became registered disabled and had to close my business down (started it up about 12 months before), so disable, £70K worth of debt and 64 years of age (then).

Depression - you bet, in trumps, nothing to look forward to, just a black hole, anyway to cut a long story short and to agree with Huthy, no nmatter how hard it may be, you HAVE to ask for help, from your nearest and dearest and your Doctor - that is NOT as easy as it sounds!!

2 years on, still take a daily anti depressant pill, still owe stacks of money BUT so what, still here, just started 2nd year at the Open University, doing a BA (Hons) in English Literature and still posting nonsense on here.

Apologies if this has been boring or Agony Aunty stuff.

    Have a good day :)

Mighty Huth big respect to you from me Pott's <ok>
I think many have a cross to bear at sometime, I've been there but won't bore with the details... Two strokes/days off work/can't spell talk/walk and right brassed off at times but I will just add this.

Gary Speed seemed to have "everything some would want in life" for whatever reason he could not cope I feel SO SORRY for his wife and two boys..
WHY???? Gary Speed had to kill himself I will NEVER EVER comprehend. May he R.I.P.

    Huthy, thanks again!

Good on you Nick. Now I know the reason for your eloquent and poetic postings on here. A BA in English Lit explains it

Huthy - just to clarify regarding the closed thread.

I was not taking sides - you probably noted that I didnt comment on it - but felt that based on the thread topic it was inappropriate for the debate to continue on there. It was not a reflection on any individual member. Hope that clarifies it for all.
