If, by some miracle, some of these clowns actually own a season ticket ... ... the club should block it and take them to court. Loons like these claim the club is embarrassing, which should be the dictionary definition of 'Irony'.
Quick panel. All terms he wanted were met by the club. You’ve said otherwise. It’s untrue and mischief making. The deal was all verbally agreed and Jack was happy with it.
Every need for a reply to your stupid, ill-informed, attention-seeking nonsense postings. **** off back to RTG will you?
Bite? we all love our club but when it is being run badly I think people have a right to question it.
Yes, that's an opinion ... ... anyway, I asked you earlier why no other clubs wanted to pay £16m if he's such a bargain at £15m. Any idea?
Listen marra, no one knows how much we got, not worth worrying about. What if Clarke wanted to go? ever considered that?
If that sell on % is right we could end up better off than the £25m I think most would have been happy with. Gutted to see him go but it's exciting to see what Munle can do! Didn't he leave Spurs after not signing a contract offer? Which would suggest spurs saw enough in him to want him to stay?
I'd have preferred more but if 15m today helps us improve the team before the windows ends, 15m today is better than 20-25 on deadline day when it is too late.
Some people make me laugh, they expect the owner to spend loads of money. Then, when we sell a player, they complain it’s not enough, as if it’s their money being lost. I’m not saying the price is right or wrong, but it’s a good profit from what we paid for him. If Jack was worth more, I think the top clubs would have been interested. Even mid-table teams haven’t shown interest, which says something. I love Clarke like every Sunderland fan, but maybe we overvalue our players.
It's also worth noting that not one club in the world came to us with a £25m offer Yet some think we've deliberately "undersold him"
Think it’s fair to say it’s the best it’s been run in well over a decade, short nearly ended the club, Donald and methven took a punt on a quick promotion then sell which blew up and left us languishing, we’ve had a couple of poor windows and one poor half season, we’re going in the right direction, always hurts to sell good players but we’ve got a lot of them now with hopefully more to follow shortly, we’ll be fine
Anyone defending a decision to sell the best player in the championship for £15m really shouldn’t be calling anyone stupid imho. It’s a message board - I’m not sure you understand how it works?
