He’s a winger so presumably would be in place of a high price signing there like Jack Clarke. Maybe even in place of Ryan Fraser. Would assume he wouldn’t cost too much as he is second division German club with a current valuation of €3m. Presume it is for us and not Goetzpe? Since he is Turkish … Seems a bit too high a fee for that
The only thing that worries me about Saad, it would be a very Brighton signing, and Brighton have St Pauli’s old manager, and they haven’t signed him…
They have signed two wingers for €30m plus and one for €20m who i think is the one loaned straight out. They are shopping in a different market now
Well yeah. If you haven’t seen the show you wouldn’t be. But the narrator is like this throughout. There are things said often and then the narrator chips in with “he didn’t” or “it wasn’t”. Things like that
Only thing I can see is a bid rejected. Were we linked once or was that fans suggesting players? Seems like it will be a big fee. €35m on transfermarkt - and he scored 13 goals last year in Portugal for one of the top teams. Shows you what the striker market is like (at least if you focus on goals only which unsurprisingly most people tend to)
Provided he brings his end product with him from Hamburg and it isn't held up by brexshit bureaucracy. (I know, no politics, I'm a naughty boy and deserve a sound thrashing.)
This should give people an indication of what the striker market is like. This and Rutter for 40m to Brighton. It’s massive money for acceptable/good returns in B tier leagues. It’s not really a surprise we have struggled to recruit in this area both this summer and for many years At some point I’m tempted to look at all the strikers who have moved and for what price. Need more time for that I remember doing that at the end of the season Armstrong really struggled and I’m sure I came to the conclusion that is no one we could have got in a similar bracket who would have definitely got us the goals he didn’t. It came down to the one who was the closest comparison at the time - Edouard - for a bigger fee and bigger wages and (at that time) not much better a record (I think I mean after one season in the prem not records at prior club)
