Standard. They probably considered how to get us out and as Forest won at SJP went with them instead of wolves. It’ll be Arsenal away in R3.

Brighton at home to Crawley. Sure.

Of course - us and Forest were caught screwing around with PSR so this is the punishment. Coincidence? Dont think so.

Indeed. Baffles me that they can do this with ease yet here we are going into Saturday with five goalkeepers, Hayden, Fraser and Lewis on the books and likely appearances for Almiron, Krafth and Burn. After being in the UCL and signing up with Adidas.

I don’t run a football club but we’re a strange one.

They don’t have any psr concerns - they have a sugar daddy club in Chelsea
 
IF we have PSR concerns, why are we even pursuing a £60m player? It's baffling to me..

We should be targeting the affordable players from other leagues (doesn't have to be big name), like those in the £30m-£35m range, similar to what Brighton and other non-top PL clubs are doing.

Newcastle seem to be actively not doing that.. I'm questioning where that is coming from like Roland at this point.

I suspect it's the manager or maybe they just can't shift the underbelly in the 1st place? I suppose it could be both.

Yeah there are plenty of good options out there at lesser fee's - I'd like to see us have a run at Josip Sutalo at Ajax - only joined them last year for £20m or something but he can play, he can defend, Croatian international, 24, and a big lad has shades of Schar stepping out but not sure he can shoot!

For £35-40m I think he'd be a great buy:
