As an aside Anthony Gordon got 11 goals and 10 assists in fewer games. But he only got his Prem goals against minnows like Tottenham, Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool and not against Bournemouth, Luton and Burnley like magic man Diaz.

I rate the lad but suspect we'll not be matching whatever value he has in his head. Generational talent ffs, he's probably not in the top 5 players to come out of the Chelsea academy in the last decade.

Think I said when he was first linked to them, he’s an upgrade on Diaz. More end product.

This is the way it is now, days of old they would've had to sell, but as they, and all the premier league clubs, are fairly rich, it's about FFP. They sold Olise and aren't really big spenders, so it isn't going to affect them.

I've only seen him play in a few games prior to the Euros but he stood out as an excellent young keeper. Didn't do himself any harm in the Euros and a touch jealous we didn't make a move ourselves. There's a lot of good keepers around at the moment but he looks a cut above to me (based off a fairly small sample of games in fairness).
