Wtf

Are we now Bournemouth feed club to avoid them having ffp issues

Needed a prem club for him to move to. Gets 1st team Exposure in the league, acclimatises for a year or two before taking over from Ali.

Plays in a team that like to play out from the back so gets exposure passing it around but also a team that faces lots of shots. Seems a good move.

If the young players themselves are feeling ignored then that suggests a problem. I don't think it's ideal to have your own players dissatisfied about happenings at the club.

All young players know that it's hard to break through and the chances of one cohort all breaking through are pretty slim. There's a way to manage all expectations otherwise we'd be seeing this sort of thing all the time. Their evidence suggests a lack of good management. The academy staff hasn't changed so the problem lies somewhere else.

We haven’t even started the season. Think it’s a bit early to be saying the academy players are dissatisfied about things and that they won’t break through?

Arsenal look like have free run at Merino from sociadad now that Zubi is staying - they didn’t want to lose both in same window

No.

Think about that.

To take over from the world's best keeper.

Unacceptable.

Yeah, wondered if the Merino deal was affecting the Zub transfer.

Haven't Sociedad lost a CB aswell?

Supporters watching a decent side picked over by Europes elite

Looks like technically not signing him this year. It’s deferred to until next year and instead will go on loan from Valencia to Bournemouth (think it’s because you can’t sign someone and loan to another prem club in same window).

I assume also means any cost will go out of next years budget

Replacing alisson is absolutely unacceptable. The end.

31 year old with min 5 top years left. Minimum. The absolsutle best keeper on thr planet and best ever lfc keeper by a stretch.

Totally unacceptable.

He’s not being replaced? Not sure what info you’re looking at.

They have been posting black and white photos of themselves on their social media saying they are being ignored. That's the only reason I said it.

The situation with Mamardashvili as I understand it is that we have a guaranteed transfer in 2025. Terms have been agreed and part of the arrangement is that Valencia will loan him to Bournemouth who will pay the loan fee and his wages. He will then be officially transferred to us after the season long loan.

With regard to Zubimendi, it seems that RS are having difficulty in agreeing his new contract. Obviously all hearsay from journalists 'close to the club'.saying he was talked out of a move and into staying put but he's not liking what RS are putting to him in terms of a new contract. We're out of it now but interesting to see what happens.
