Given my thoughts on players like davies would you be shocked if I thought this is a giant waste of time and money unless they know alisson is off?

We need a ball playing deep playmaker and we need a lb. Urgently.

We probably need a 9. Fairly urgently

We certainly need an rw next season.

Going and buying a keeper for a lot more than we will sell kelleher for seems totally pointless unless alisson is going.

His contract runs to 2027 this is not urgent.

Like Mito i don't get this unless there is a reason to think this is Allisons last season with us Some weird transfer targets so far as the Gordon one was again in a position which didn't require action this season
 
Looks like another make do and mend season.Better keep our fingers crossed that the injuries keep to a minimum.

We were trying for that and it didn't work out - do we halt all other plans because one falls through?
Perhaps see it as "as well as" rather than instead of.
 
I can't remember a start to a season where there wasn't a constant moan about transfers, no matter what happens.
I enjoy football and I look forward to seeing what will happen, but sometimes reading stuff on here makes me bloody depressed.
Come on, guys - just relax and enjoy it and stop trying to run the club for them. It'll be fine.

tbf things like this were going to happen with a new manager. Doak isn't his project, Slot has probably taken a look a decided he's not what he's looking for and without the attachment of being the one who bought him to develop Doak would have had to done something special.

If the the Spanish federation are serious about this registration system then they need to change thier rules so that the transfers themselves cannot complete without the ability to put a plauer in a squad. Barca should not be able to take a plauer out of another club, pay compensation and then fiddle about to try register them as players in the squad after. It's cart before horse.

In fact fifa or uefa need to step in and harden up the rules to prevent barca and chelsea disease as well.

The premier league also have a free for all rule that any u21 no matter how recently signed can play in the prem.so it allows chelsea to do what they are doing.

Over 45 players now? The uefa squad rules are going to scupper chelsea as the b list has to have players at the club for at least 2 years.

Chelsea.can register 17 foreign players. They need 4 hg and 4 club trained. They will probably struggle now to scrape up 4 club trained. The b list will then be a massive issue as almost none of their buys will qualify.

It's in the prem.wjere these rules are much more lax. Any old 8 for hg and any plauer who arrives under 21 can play.
