That Gruda looks decent and would likely be cheaper than Madueke... No PL experience though, and it's looking more and more as though that factor is a key one in our transfer decisions. It seems to carry quite a bit of weight.

If it means getting the right player then it's good news. I don't want the string of piss that I suspect wears a hair system at the club.
Mandueke isn't joining us. Wrong mentality for Howe.
I like the look of him. I think they have probably enquired but get the impression it would be difficult to get him out of Germany this season. Particularly because he is quite young and also seems like the big German sides maintain an interest. I reckon Howe and team could do a good job with Madueke mind you. Miggy however much I appreciate the efforts he's put in for us I simply cannot watch another season of continual wasted opportunities
Outside of Germany. If we can get him from what I've seen I'd be delighted but from what I've read it looks unlikely.
There's a few players - like Gruda - who are 18-22 range but are being called up to their national teams. Gruda was in the Germany squad prior to getting a tweak on the eve of the Euros and Scalvini was in the Italy squad (as has played 8 games for them); they're both about 20 years old and now is the kind of time you want to be signing players like that because in a few years they'll a) cost more and b) want to sign for bigger teams than were we are now at.
