They were placed under an EFL imposed business plan recently because they are close to breaking profit and sustainability rules. I gather it means they need to consult with the FA before they can bring anyone in.
Strikers we have lost who i feel were within budget even just to warm the bench.... Alfie May Devante Cole Macauley Langstaff. Our bench will kill us as it did with Ainsworth.
Presumably he didn't know where it was or his agent told him it was only a few minutes ride in his Porsche to the bright lights of London. Now where's that incoming striker? Looks like another season starts with one fit striker who can score who will be injured in the first game to join the one already injured who also can't score. You can stake your house on it
We don't seem to be any better off, attacking wise, then we were last season. Seriously need some new recruits in that department.
Although the season starts on Saturday, there's still over three weeks of the transfer window left. I'm sure Marti and Nourry know where we are lacking and are working on deals to bring players in...aa you know, a lot of this stuff finally gets sorted on deadline day
We will not get Rak Sak. If we do it will be the best signing for years but why us when there are 20 odd better options for him? i think he could even stay lower end prem (Leicester, Soton, Ipswich etc)
Not discounting as such but is unproven to us, as of yet. We seriously need some creativity and without it then Celar could get very few chances
Totally get that but the season starts on Saturday not at the end of the month. I'm looking forward to the season under Marti but as it stands right now, our attacking options are really not any different to what we had before.
Palace don't want to lend him to a Prem team and he wants to stay in London allegedly. I wouldn't write it off just yet.
We are yet to find out, time will tell. It will be all about creating chances for Celar, Armstrong generally made his own, despite fluffing most of them.
