Jess Phillips response is an utter disgrace. She is quite literally making excuses for Asians who are rioting whilst her party are calling white people thugs.

I don’t see the difference, personally. Both thugs.

Just out of shot of the video, was a guy who had been filmed inadvertently during the recording, I actually noticed him during the live recording, he caught my attention because he was holding something that looked like a long weapon, but I couldn't make out what it was, a bat, a sword, I just didn't know - well there is some serious claims about him today on twitter, but I've not posted them because I can't prove it and I'm not trusting the source. I don't want no hatred and I've called out the violent thugs plenty of times on here, who Keir calls far-right, but we shouldn't just be looking at one side of this, if the law is broken, it's broken and anyone else should be prosecuted accordingly, we shouldn't be making excuses which I believe is what Jess Phillips is accused of doing.

Tbh SAF I generally find it difficult to be impartial about the old bill. Have had enough abuse, threats and beatings from them as a kid, a footie fan, demonstrator and (unfortunately) a **** load of racism from some.

To be clear I don't agree with attacking people but rightly or wrongy my bias makes me wonder what happened before the kick off.

My biggest thing in all this though is that people are attacking mosques, hotels housing immigrants, plus anyone one that disagrees with them cos of a hideous crime committed by a Welsh born Christian. I genuinely despair at the hatred people have towards others.

I've read load about nazi Germany pre hitler being in power and this is like a tiny version of the beginning of the scapegoating of Jewish people.

However I do get your points and don't pretend to have an answer to be honest

I’ve been sent at least 15 videos of Asian lads going on the rampage. It doesn’t seem to be showing up on any news feed. I’ve also seen a group of Asians apologising and offering to pay for damages caused by Asians smashing a pub up. Fair play to them for that.

Just give me the honest news about what’s happening from both sides now, otherwise I’m going to be frustrated and left scratching my head wondering why they aren’t putting the whole truth out there.

I’m totally with you on the mosques and Muslims coming under attack. I don’t understand it myself. Then again, I’m not a racist skin head EDL member so I probably am missing something.

This all started because young girls were tragically stabbed to death. Knife crime has been a big problem in this country for a long time and Asians aren’t the problem with that, so I’ve got no idea why they’re the scapegoat in all of this.

If these dickheads rioting said that was one stabbing too much and that was the reason for the rioting, I’d be more understanding of it. The government should have tackled this head on at least a decade ago.

I think you probably have a point, I know twitter is bad and you have to be careful, but this past week I've never seen it so bad, it's like the right wing are trending all the time, so something is defo going on in the background and then Elon jumps in with his absolutely ridiculous comment. I actually wished we could have a twitter version without politics, because I like the footie and funny stuff, but it;s going way too extreme now. There was a Gills lad on there, I;ve binned him off, everything he was retweeting was far right, it was like a bot, but not a bot, and this is what they are doing. I'm just blocking some feeds now.

I don't blame Keir or Labour for what's happened, even if I think he could have chosen better language in his media takes. I blame the Tories for a decade of underfunding, that's now made white kids think the government care more about migrants than they do about their own, hence why they are now smashing the place up, because once their parents fail them, we are fooked. Trouble is now, some of these kids are going to have to live with their criminal record for life, and always be branded a racist. When the blame lays with the system and the parents for making it feel like that. And the dark forces within social media are making people turn against one another, based on their political positions and beliefs, it's just a pit of fire and everyone just needs to calm the fook down, before we fail these kids anymore, and the politicians need to own up to their failing in all this to.
