Match report : LEEDS UTD VS MILLWALL

Venue and time : Fortress Elland Road, Saturday 3rd December 2011 at 12.30pm

Team News Leeds : After a fitting tribute to the late great Gary Speed, Simon Grayson is unlikely to change the side that thrashed Forest 4-0 at the City Ground, meaning leading goalscorer Ross McCormack will start on the bench, meaning Leeds will revert to a 4-5-1 formation with Becchio Leeds lone striker.

Team News Millwall : A midweek win at home against Donny will give the Wall confidence as they make the long trip to Yorkshire. Having come off the bench as a second half substitute and scoring Henderson would expect to be in the starting line up on Saturday lunchtime.

Leeds probable starting line up

McCarthy
Connolly
Kisnorbo
Lees
White
Brown
Howson
Clayton
Pugh
Becchio
Snodgrass

This one is not for the faint hearted, I heard Wall are bringing 2 coach loads of supporters <yikes>

Its going to be a tough one but we have to get back to winning ways at Elland Road if we are going to stand any chance of finishing in the play offs or even better.

Would love to see another clean sheet & think we may just nick a win 1-0.

Two coach loads of supporters!?
Well at least Bermondsy's local brass' can take a night off, wives can relax without flinching every time a man in blue raises his arm, and its' ethnic communities can sleep easy.

Morning YNBK. I think we all know that whilst the 'Wall may be struggling generally, as soon as they get a sniff of clear Yorkshire air they are suddenly revitalised. In short, it will be a harder game on Saturday than it was last night even if there will be a lot more emotion surrounding the game.

I agree that SG will start with the same XI that started last night. This would mean Kisnorbo keeping O'Dea out the side. Not bad for an old boy. I'd imagine McC. & Keogh to get a run out in the 2nd half & we change to 442. SG does like his partnerships afterall. Think we'll sneak this either 1-0 or 2-0. In the fall out from last night everyone seems to have forgotton that we kept another clean sheet.

In SG we trust, in Peace will Gary rest, & in step we wil continue to MOT!!!

**** me, you lot are brave. <laugh>

We'll be all in a taxi (it's a 2 seater). Leeds are playing like Barcelona, they're the best team in the league by far, in fact the Premier needs them back so much that the FA are going to promote them anyway so why even play?

Yep, a 30 - 0 scoreline is on the cards.

Glad to see that you lot are still droning on about how fantastic you are.

YOU NORTHERNERS DO LIKE DANCING AROUND YOUR HANDBAGS!

but seriously, if we play like we did last night then we could be in for a thrashing.....but there's something about Leeds that just makes the Lions play that bit better.... I reckon you'll sneak it by the odd goal though! (breaks my heart to say that)

by the way - is it Grayson in or Grayson out today?

We won last night, so it's Grayson in at the moment. <ok>

If it's anything like last season you'll be lucky if you lose 3-1.

Isn't that obvious? It's your cup final,! It's not every day you get to play one of the biggest clubs in the world! :1980_boogie_down:

YNBK, all sides have their knuckle-dragging meat'eads. The 'Wall have got Mr Millwall. I prefer to read the more tempered & light-hearted banter eminating from Tommy & Ringo amongst others. Regardless of what Tommy says above, I think emotion will kick in for us, clear Northern air will help the 'Wall, & it'll be a close game with us just in front at the end.
