Hi all

i was reading an article, where a woman stole £50k plus from her employer, to help fund her husbands gambling addiction.

personally i think in these circumstances its sad that a whole family has to be dragged in to dealing with a horrid gambling addiction.

my question to everyone Should laws on gambling be made stricter or should there be more help of addictions ?

i think there should be more advertised and easily accessed help. people must understand how to gamble responsibly.

Not sure.

That's the pain of addiction - it affects not just the sufferer, but all those close to them. One thing has been consistently proven though; Legal restriction, whether of drugs, booze, or gambling, is pointless because it just doesn't work.

Don't bore every **** with this, just PM it straight to Trev FFS.

cheers for the reply mate ! just thought it be interesting to see people view of a increasingly common issue of gambling. Im sure a majority of people know someone of have heard of someone close to their inner circle who has suffered from a gambling addiction.

Gambloing addictions only afflict those who are rubbish at it - if you pick the right horses, dogs or teams then you have no problems <ok>

It was tongue in cheek, I was refering to the poster by the name of Trev, who will freely admit that he has robbed friends and family alike to feed his gambling addiction.
