Results count for nothing in friendlies. It can effect confidence and momentum though. A playmaker was seriously missing today from our team. Smyth is infuriating, Anderson can't be everywhere and both Colback and Field are defensive players. Frey is just a lump who would be best used as a sub at most. Dykes, well we know all about him. We desperately need another striker as Celar is our only real option but we just didn't create a single thing for him. Dixon-bonner just seems too lethargic/laid back. We need a few more signings for this squad to compete.
So, no goals in three games? Did SWP start? Are we employing Ainsworth tactics for sentiment reasons? C’om Marti, we want to party….. tell the beancounters we want another goalscorer. It just seems wrong, losing to the fakes.
Like I said we miss Chair big time, can only hope this back issue isn't gonna rule him out for much longer. We need some pace in the team especially out wide and really need an attacking mid who can get in the box and net a few. Our squad looks really thin on the ground, and can't really see any of the youngsters stepping up for the first 11 this season.

Well, that's just fooking marvelous ! Also said Dykes got a kick to the same ankle that he recently injured and was in alot of pain. We need to be getting some decent players through the doors rapidly

Trouble is there's no ****er there to supply him with the chances! Without Chair and Willock we're severely lacking in the creative areas . That squad as it is will struggle to stay up again. We're 3 attacking players short of where we need to be. 2 wide men and an attacking mid needed ASAP.
