Just been watching the Team Horse Dancing ... didn't understand it - not sure the commentators did either tbh - just seemed to be making stuff up - we won the bronze - which apparently was quite good considering we had to make a team change due to film footage of some Geordie bird punching her horse in training, or something...

Just catching up, I was going to write this.
The association which banned her has been shrouded by corruption an the "International Olympic Committee stripped the IBA of its Olympic governance authority last summer, accusing the organization of mismanagement and corruption. That move, together with the IOC's decision to ban Russia from competition here, has fueled suspicion that Kremlev is seeking to disrupt the games."
As far as I can tell there's only unsubstantiated rumour that she was born with XY chromosomes and the only substantiated evidence is that she's lived her entire life female, etc. If I was her I'd sue a whole bunch of people for this kind of stuff. (Unless she's got a whopping nob in a jar at home waiting to be stitched back on - that's totally how these things work).
