I saw a police van on fire, feel sorry for the coppers that have got to deal with this. Why would anyone want to be a copper at the mo.
Irrational mob mentality - but you can understand that feelings are raw - ... and whilst you can't rule out that the vile little **** might have been radicalised etc Rwanda itself is a predominantly Christian country with only a tiny Muslim population...
Should start booting people in the head More seriously and sadly it says a lot that people have made the assumption that the person is a Muslim.
I think the likes of Tommy Robinson and other right wing elements have been stirring it on Twitter all day. It's part reason why I've been careful what I've posted over the last few days - it's so easy to pick up on false accusations and incorrect information about an incident, but no matter how many times you say that, people don't believe it, they just see feeds and don't understand how (and why) they are generated, elements that want to cause a divide. Yes, questions need to be answered, but smashing up your community is helpful to no one, absolutely no one.
Worrying times. I only see these types of incidents (the rioting) continuing and escalating. Don't see a way out of it currently. Just a question of how bad the peak will be.
Watching the scenes it's absolutely disgraceful. Young coppers getting bricks and other stuff lobbed at them, why would you do that, it would make me want to go and stand in line with the coppers, some who are probably younger than my own kids. The community needs to come together and help push these thugs out.
This kind of thing is happening in various parts of Europe at the moment in isolated incidents, Sweden, France, Holland and even Ireland. Civil unrest is on the rise and i can onlly see it getting worse at the moment.
