I'm old enough / young enough to recall Dave Roberts....He was always the stand out player when he came here with Oxford I think....We bought him and he was just as good for the next couple of seasons....If only there was another Dave Roberts. He's the only player who got better with us, though I reckon Curtis Davis runs him a close second.
Disgaree Hed only really spent 1 season at championship level Then we bought him for the prem which he was nowhere near good enough for More just a bad signing on our part
Many thanks Curly (another streak of pish ). The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Unlike me I had to look at that twice, age is catching up with me. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
It's all starting to look more positive on the new transfer front. Fingers crossed for a happy ending.
Richie Appleby Looked next level for kiddie, never did it for us on the rare occasion he wasn’t injured
Seems a bargain... Hull City are set to confirm the signing of striker Brandon Thomas-Asante from Championship rivals West Bromwich Albion in what is a significant boost to Tim Walter's attacking options. Albion and the Tigers have struck an agreement which will see the 25-year-old frontman sign a three-year contract at the MKM Stadium with the option of a fourth. Hull Live understands Thomas-Asante will be in attendance when City host Italian giants Fiorentina in their penultimate friendly of pre-season on Tuesday night. Reports emerged on Monday suggesting that City were paying in the region of £2.5m for the striker, but Hull Live understands from sources close to the deal that the final fee agreed with Albion is significantly less than the originally reported figure and well below £2m, which is viewed by Tigers bosses as smart business for a key performer at one of their rivals.
Watched him, he is a good one. Had a great game against Galatasaray. As I told before, there are good veteran keepers in Turkish league, would be good to aim them, Nita is good too.
Just to warn people though Asante missed 18 (!) big chances last season. He did score some bangers to make up for it but I can see people getting frustrated
