Tbf not having Willock all season sucked balls. The problem is it'll take a while until he gets back to his best and the same applies to Tonali, so guess what ? Longstaff for another extended period.

Not for a while I don't think.

I would expect the first couple of games at least we'll see the same side that finished last season... Pope the only exception.

Pope played in the final game. Although Tino and Gordon didn't, so hopefully they will start.

Looks like anything exciting happening on incomings is safe to rule out, so we might as well use mental gymnastics and and adopt the following.... not necessarily wrong gymnastics.

1. Do you want Mike Ashley back
2. We need patience remember where we were before the takeover.
3. I've been following this club since before I existed and I'm happy that club isn't doing anything this summer.
