Another obsessed Mag at todays game

Now that follows a pattern I've regularly seen at away games over the last few seasons.

The ones I've encountered have often only revealed their shirt once they're safely inside the ground such as at Coventry, Shrewsbury, Lincoln, etc. That's pretty cowardly in my opinion. But there are worse cowards, those who wear a Mag shirt but only if they have a girl or a child with them.

I was having a drink with 'Grumpy Old Man' at Peterborough, for our last away game, when we started walking towards the ground. A toothless tattooed Mag, wearing a B&W shirt was making quite audible comments, at passing Sunderland fans, as he waited in a taxi rank then laughing to other people in the queue. He had his son with him, who was about fourteen, and he was joining in.

I took offence when he made a comment about Sunderland fans and incest so I walked up to him and asked him to repeat it straight to my face. He refused so I got really close and asked him again but he refused again. He pushed me away at which point I asked if he'd like to push me again warning him that I'd take his head off if he did.

"Aye, threaten me in front of me bairn." <doh>

I explained to him, loudly enough so the whole queue could hear, that the only reason he was wearing the shirt was that he was hiding behind his son. I told the lad how sorry I was for him and why he should ask his father to grow up ...

... they really are different from normal people and there's little hope they'll evolve.

Personally I hope these pathetic individuals keep it up. It is only a matter of time before one of them gets a bloody good hiding. Which is no more than they deserve ;)
