Due to Amanda and Mehrdad wanting to have some participation in transfer negotiations it pissed off Ashworth who then jumped saying the role he signed up for wasn’t what he was doing. Now if you’re an elite manager you can get away with this sort of behaviour. When your not there yet (and I said YET) you should maybe be just get your head down and do your job rather than hinting on to bellends in the press that your not happy you have to answer to 2 new bosses. Who, in turn have sent out a table of seniority (something I’ve never seen a football club do previously) in response so everyone knows who’s boss. Eddie is about 5th on the rung same as nickson and bunse and tindal, Jones , Andy Howe etc are on the 6th.
If it’s not contentious then why shouldn’t he say it? You complained a minute ago he didn’t answer questions in an interview now you want him to say nothing. Make your mind up. He has to speak, it’s called an interview

Actually what's happening is you're asking people to explain and then when they explain you don't take it in. I'll try asking you questions again. Why does Eddie Howe usually manage not to answer questions regarding internal affairs? If you can get your head around this you'll have your explanation. Also why are we having this debate?
Pretty much sums it up. Eales also said something about 90% of Mitchells job is recruitment. That’s players and staff. I don’t think Howe likes this new environment he is in. The lovey dovey stuff is over. It’s time to deliver and I think Howe knows that.
I see Southampton have signed Diaz for 7 million. That's good work imo... would have been good here at that price. It would have stopped him scoring against us if nothing else at all.
6 goals in 14 games in his half season loan at Sheffield Utd is a very decent return. Why is he only costing £7m? Meanwhile we're now being fairly strongly linked with a Wilson injury inspired move for Sheffield Utd's Will Osula, for around £10m. A striker who managed 0 goals and 0 assists for them in 21 PL appearances last season (2 goals in 16 appearances in League One whilst out on loan the season before...). Works hard though and runs around a lot, according to Sheffield Utd fans.
Seems a great price doesn't it.. perhaps the market is about to crash and that's why the toon are still lurking. Hopefully... but it's rare I find a positive potential scenario.
