I thought Harrison looked good Yesterday... perhaps the club is going to use the youth more and not buy more plodders?
An abbreviated version of Eddie Howe's answer to a question on Almiron yesterday: "He's a pivotal player for me and he's returned to training with a big smile on his face, so I want to keep him."
It's certainly part of the longer term plan to attract and develop top youth players. Harrison seems highly thought of, so could well feature a bit this season.
Good news... he is actaully very useful and deserves to play a role... if Newcastle sign a better RW he's ideal back up because he gives 100% and won't cause trouble if he's on the bench.
Tino, Ashby & Krafth all going to Japan, so guessing those will be our RB options next season with Tripps seemingly heading off? Hopefully we can get some money for him. Either way, I wish him all the best, he did a great job when we needed him
That's fine, but I'd rather we do it soon so we can use the money and find replacements before the deadline.
Actually checking some facts (the likers can like away) but 2 weeks ago it wasn’t clear he needed surgery and it wasn’t obvious he would miss the start of the season. And apparently he will miss the first 5 games.
I expect the club will have had strong words with him, if they felt he overstepped the mark. So I can't see him doing it again. If he does, then either the owners aren't too fussed by it, or Howe doesn't care if it gets him axed.
