Anyone else having visions of a double or triple signing before kick off today?

After the info on here and Tan’s Instagram post, I’m now expecting it’ll be Glatzel. But could we see Millar, Hughes or a mystery striker joining also? (or instead, of course)

It’s doubtful, but it might ease a bit of tension on here! I’ve no idea what other platforms are like as I don’t check them but I get the feeling the positivity needs to start soon. Especially as we’ll probably get hammered by Newcastle. <laugh>

Perhaps one those Fenerbahce lads? I’ve said before but I imagine there’s a hell of a lot of work going on behind the scenes now.

I get told stuff, I pass on what I think I can pass on without crossing the line I'm told not to cross. I mean mental health wise, I should just keep the info to myself because even though I know nothing I'm told is nailed on, it's me that gets the flack from you lot if it doesn't happen. Nevertheless, I've always respected the line he drew when he first started telling me stuff and I've only crossed it once and got into trouble in the 2016/17 season.

This transfer window hasn't been brilliant for fans because it looks inactive, it makes the friendlies against bigger opponents a waste of time for the club and for the players because these games shouldn't just be about minutes in the legs, they should be tactical matches against tough opposition that allow us to find mistakes and rectify them. So I understand that people are angsty, they want to see progress because the current squad is weaker than the last one and would be shot to bits.

But if we're getting into messenger shooting, put me against the wall and pull the trigger. From now on, I'll just do it via DM.

Thought Hughes was lining up for Wigan today so can't be very close.

I don't think it will be Glatzel. He's been in Austria as part of the pre-Season tour and I think he was just made captain after saying he wants to stay there amidst interest form some top leagues.

Nyoni has just come on and he looks fantastic, he's only 17 so it's interesting to see how his development goes. A potential loanee down the road

EDIT: Morton had a very good half, he looks a lot better playing alongside more technical players.

Re potential loans for us, Doak has been lively but he's very young & possibly Bajcetic, he'll need games after missing all last season. The rest just look too raw, but there are a fair few that would be good loans in a year or two. The lad McConnell we've been linked with has missed out through injury.

I was wondering a while back about Bajcetic, ( a better player than Morton for me) and if Liverpool would consider loaning someone out who'd had a pretty serious injury at an early age. He would be great here.. lets hope the relationship despite change of manager continues.
