Does ‘a late change of heart’ translate as more money?
I'd never want to pour cold water over a man's ambition and I'm sure KM is looking for a club that could give him one more go at the Prem. However, he's at best a good championship player and no more in my opinion. To be honest, I'm glad we're out of the picture.

Some managers and some players are destined to be top end championship players, but to struggle in the premier league. Their approaches take you so far and no further. Colin is one.
If they were mercenary, as soon as they got promoted they should ask for a transfer back to the championship. Bigger fish in a smaller pond.

I think I'm with you on your last point though Clingo. No doubt he'd have got us goals, but he'd also have determined our style of play. Would I have taken him? Yes. Am I disappointed we didn't get him? No.

Thinking bigger picture, I'm hoping we build a more rounded team without him. All your eggs in one basket and all that. A loss of form, a suspension, an injury and you struggle.

Good luck to him, but I feel we'll do as well, or better, without him.

As long as we get a striker who's scoring range exceeds 8 feet.
