To be honest, this is why I struggle to watch international football, I find it difficult to set aside all those club rivalries against players I spend season in and season out spewing insults at, when they pull on the England shirt. It’s probably why the digs from our Irish friends don’t bite as much. The playoff final loss hurt so much more than Sunday, no comparison.

I would like to point out to Scotland/wales/Eire etc just because you wanted Spain to win does not make you winners. There will be no trophy parade in Dublin or Glasgow to mark your win. <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>
