French fa have also started proceedings against Argentina.

Wonder if they will get a tournament ban or something meaningless like a fine

Funny cos i aint seen Grealish pass a player since he moved to 115 fc.

I remember gazza 96

Where he made an absolute fool of himself along with several other players.

And scored one goal against the jocks.

Whoopdedoo

Does it quite a lot bro.

Yeah, Gazza had some skill, did well at points in his time at Spurs and Lazio when recovered.
His best days in Scotland.
A few moments of magic with England, free kick to setup platt in 90, his performance against Netherlands in 96 and taking Scotland to the cleaners with a world class finish.

but Hoddle, Waddle and players like McManaman etc were better and for longer periods.

if he went to United, what could have been?

Gazza was immeasurably more talented than Waddle or Mcmanaman. Hoddle a superb player. Gazza unfortunately pissed his career away.

...also add that his maniacal tackle on Gary Charles in the Cup Final undoubtedly had a hugely negative impact in his career - ACL surgery was not as brilliant back then as it is now and was a long road back ...

That said - the highlights reel I put up earlier is pretty impressive (I'd forgotten just how good he was)- shows he could turn it on against the very best both domestically and Internationally ... he was a real game changer ...

Wasn't a big Mcmanaman fan but he won 2 leagues and 2 Champions Leagues in 4 years so he must have been decent.

He was decent ... but not exceptional - Waddle won less but I'd say he was more individually gifted than McManaman - neither was close to Gascoigne in individual ability ... IMHO

Get a chance - watch the highlights - his close control and ability to beat people one on one was exceptional by any standard ...
