Great finish from Watkins.
But his run made it.
Kane doesn't make those runs.

Over the game we deserved it.Worthy winners![]()
Over the game we deserved it.
Dodgy penalty though. -very soft.
When we played it wasn't a foul.
Today you see that kind of foul in almost every game all over the pitch.
No doubt if that incident happened outside of the box it would have been given as a foul.
The decision was correct in today's game

Clifton.
Most on here understand my comment.
Life, nor football, is never black and white, there is always grey areas. As Harry said in summarising it, some you get, some you don’t.I understood it as well, but at the elite levels these decision are not uniform. On ITV the refereeing expert did not think the decision would be reviewed, or that this was a penalty.

The point is that no decision would be given the same in every game all over the pitch, that doesn’t mean the decision wasn’t the correct one.The you have underlined the point. That this decision would not have been given in every game all over the pitch.
I agree, in today’s game it’s a foul imo, but like you I don’t think it should be. We have to accept the game is different now to in “our day”Nor did Keane or Neville.
Wright thought, as I do, that if that kind of challenge happened outside the box it would have been called a foul.
I don't like fouls being given for this kind of 'coming together'.
