All these teams were on the other side of the draw.
Essentially people are already laying the psychological escape route of celebrating getting to the final.

Who will win final mate ? Spain have won all 6 games including victories against Croatia Italy Germany and France , so I'll be very surprised if the plucky English aren't the next scalp.

Football wise the favourite wins approx 60% of matches.
Doesn't seem very high unless you factor in drawn games in which case it's actually quite a significant percentage given the remaining 40% is split between draws and non favourite wins.
The above is obviously assessed on two participants, if you increase your pool e.g. horse racing then the favourite only wins approx 35% of the time.

England currently have a better chance of winning a pot than we have.
Faith is hocus pocus and won't make any difference mate. There's a chance of course, but Spain are a far more successful nation, they gave had a far more difficult and successful route to the final, with 6 straight victories including wins vs Croatia Italy Germany and France.
That side of the draw also included Belgiuma and Portugal... there was literally no countries of note on the entire opposite side of the draw but England and the Dutch.
If England win I'll yield, but until then I see the full picture.
