How are Labour doing after their first 12 months

  • Total voters
    23
I mean not the average member but the Tories in the 19 something club it's called. They're a small minority who vote on big issues, theyre like the Tory "club" if you get me.

It's not like Labour were the average member gets a vote

Ah right, I take you mean the 1922 Committee, a quick google tells me Graham Brady is 57....

I think I was absolutely wrong anyway apparently the previous election any Tory member could vote <laugh>

Hey, admitting you're wrong is the first step

I think as long has they weren't newbies, to avoid people signing up and playing the system.

I know Labour have one member one vote

But I thought the Tories always left it to their own MPs and coordinated it through the 1922 committee ?

This is from The Guardian so it must be true

It seems Reform produced so many candidate by using AI and no one can find them now

The National.scotReform UK accused of using 'AI-generated candidates' in General Election4 hours ago

Just looked at it and there are two stories running at 4 hours ago from now...

One in the National with the accusation regarding Mark Matlock but then one in the Guardian confirming his identity with a reason why the picture was edited. Suppose they will have to go through the same process with all other candidates who are accused of being suspect.

Yeah. Pretty easy one for Reform to disprove simply by all these candidates (and there are plenty) who nobody has ever seen revealing themselves. Don’t think it’s one that will go away quickly otherwise.

The link I posted was attached the the Guardian article so not the original one but if there is any truth in these rumours or the ones now popping up about Farages contacts with Putin then off to the Tower with him and the other crooks

Be interesting to see what all the results would have been without Reform, still a Labour win but with a much reduced majority

Yup, they'll just have to go through the process of proving any suspect ones, like Bwood states, should be easy enough to do.

Isn't is against Electoral law to stand non existent candidates ?

Some woman in Glasgow has driven herself a bit nuts convinced her local candidate wasn’t real. Think it’s plausible they’ve just wiped any online presence to stop any mad racist tweets from a decade ago being dug up.

Though a bit odd there wouldn’t be a basic pic of them on their site.

Anyone who don't read Socialist Worker just chuck them in jail. <laugh>

Where's Aberdude when you need him

Hang on a minute he would only have been interested if it had led to a Tory Victory

Terrifying vision of the future if it is true tho

You’d think there’d be some basic verification required to allow people of any party to stand. For the job I accepted I had to upload my ID and then for some reason have a Teams call with HR to ensure I looked like the ID after having an in-person interview to get the ****ing job which required showing ID.

I got Sucky making fake claims on the crime thread of there is another Wandsworth video of another screw and a different prisoner, and now fake people canvassing for election, the worlds going nuts, just think some people shouldn't be allowed on social media. <laugh>

Or if you're applying to become a Reform candidate, just get a Russian bot to write your CV instead
