We still look a bit slow at times, but that was a much much better half. much more cohesion and were actually playing to saka’s strengths more of the same second half, just would like to see us speed it up a bit from out of the back
There’s no way they’ll be this **** second half. Expecting the big Gallagher for Mainoo change on 65 to stop their inevitable momentum. Maybe Eze for Foden on 88 if he’s feeling frivolous.
Kane was way too slow in that half for what we are trying to do. He doesn’t press well, he’s not getting in the box when the ball is put in, he’s just floating around the pitch. He’s not winning long balls put up to him whereas Toney would be and he can hold it up for us. Better from us but we are far too slow and Predictable. Need to pick up the speed on the ball and movement in the final third.
