I doubt his car saw turtle wax at a £5 car wash, they probably sprayed it with a hose and told him that's your lot, it'll drip dry on your way home.

Probably a bucket full of piss. Relying on the acid to take off the dirt and a layer of paint which they've told him is a free t-cut included.

Anyway joking aside, although I don't bother with my car, I know my lad takes his car to be cleaned, I'm sure it's £20 or more, I didn't think the fiver ones still existed.

It was £3.50 for a bronze car wash last week. That was your basic soapy wash and wheel wash

I think Morrisons have franchised out all of their petrol stations ? and now it's £5

And yeah I never go for the silver or gold wash where you get a blow dry, I just drive out of the car wash and make sure I go along the dual carrigeway so it will drip dry nice and quickly before you get any water spots drying on it. <laugh>

My friend gets her car valeted and detailed every couple of months £150 a pop

It is spotless and it's a nice new BMW, so I guess it will help keep it's value higher by looking after it like that.

I'm gonna tell her she can get 30 visits to the car wash down at Morrisons for that <laugh>

£3.50 <laugh> even the local kids would expect more than that just for a bucket and sponge wash, scratches for free.

Oh crikey, I know my lad has paid a fair bit sometimes, but never that much.

It's my van that I use for work, so it's almost always covered in seagull ****, mud from driving in and out of fields etc.

I only tend to chuck it in the car wash when the windows and mirrors are so filthy that I can't see properly

Was well worth £3.50 of my hard earned cash that. I nearly turned around and drove off when I saw the £1.50 increase today lol.

You say that, I don't even look at the price of petrol anymore, it just winds me up lol.

You have to select a wash programme and pay contactless

Otherwise I would :bandit:

I tend to go to the handwash places. Like others, pay £20 inside and out and they dry the outside. Must admit I mainly do it for the alloys. Firstly bcos they make the difference whether the car looks decent or not. Secondly they're an absolute bitch to clean.

And the inside bcos fck doing all that spraying and wiping when I can just keep telling the bloke he missed a bit.

They'd have a ****ing fit if they saw the inside of my van <laugh>

Might have to get down to my local Albanian car wash and try it out though.

Get an electric motor. Switch the rage of paying for petrol to a once a month panic attack when the electric bill comes
