I want both.

If I had to choose one though, it would be trophies, especially for England as they’ve never been particularly good to watch anyway.

Southgate can do what he wants and play ‘anti football’ all tournament if it means England win the Euros
This is both sad and admirable.

Same about Newcastle on our board. Constant negative barrage, I find it calming if I'm honest. Plus it riles some of the natives so that's kind of entertaining.

I doubt I could deal with his bollox if he was one of ours.

The problem with Munse regarding England is it's literally the same stuff reposted every 10 mins. Get some new material Roy ffs!

You don't get it. For me football is important. I have been a Spurs fan since the 1950s because to Spurs it's important to win with style.
As Blanchflower said we want to beat the other team not bore them to death. It's why we got rid of Mourinho, Nuno, and Conte
Whos blanchflower.

maybe constantly sacking managers is the problem. The manager merry-go-round achieves nothing, but more problems. England have tried everything else and failed, so maybe boring might just work.

Ramsey was heavily criticised for his wingless teams so you might be right but I don't want to watch it.

Careful, he and Howe might switch jobs in a few weeks. Reckon your boy will be the FA’s preference if Garry does leave.

I think Howe would be the obvious choice so that's a worry.

No chance we appoint Gareth though. When the owners were fresh through the door the top two choices they had to replace Bruce were Howe and Emery (who turned us down) - that gives me confidence they know what they're doing as both were solid options. I suspect they'll already have names in mind in case the FA do lure Howe away.

You talking about England or Spurs <laugh>
