A beautiful take down of Andy Scott on Twitter today.

In response to Scott’s comment to Rich Cawley that CAFC’s team needs strengthening in “every department” this summer, a fan has pointed out that the same Andy Scott at CAFC has signed 23 players in the past 12 months for the club.

Yes but to be fair to Andy, most of those 23 haven’t strengthened the squad, so he does need several more <whistle>

Interesting comments from Andy Scott reported by Rich Cawley today.

Last season was chaotic, and the position inherited by the new owners was worse than thought. <doh>

I thought part of the “football experienced” role of the SMT had been to properly assess the situation for the owners ? Maybe not.

Scott goes on to say that both communication and mood at the club noticeably improved when Appleton left and Jones came in.

If only we could identify the critter who handpicked Appleton to be our manager eh ?

What was noticeable about Scott’s comments today was plenty of buck passing, but zero self reflection or personal accountability for last season’s failure.

This just reinforces the widespread perception within the club that Scott is one arrogant individual.,

Wouldn't mind him being arrogant if he was good at his job instead of a liability.

Andy Scott demoted today following a boardroom review & shake up.

He’s removed from the SMT.

Very fortunate to keep his job IMO.

Thats one in the eye for Hawtrey and his delusional bunch of fellow travellers on ITTV.
Would suggest Jones has Scott working under him.
Although a shame the prick has not been given the boot.
