That’s a cracking set of fixtures. We have a very good chance of hitting the ground running with them games.
I bet Northumbria's finest are delighted that us and the mags are at home on the same day on the 17th August!
Cardiff hotels for the match on 10th of August are very expensive due to Billy Joel being on at the Principality Stadium.
I can’t really see any difficult fixtures there. The promoted sides look poor and I’d be surprised if any finished top half. The relegated sides look weak this time around. I think Coventry and Leeds will be fighting it out at the top but neither exactly look a level above everyone else. This will be the weakest the championship has been for many a year.
Horrible start from a travel perspective for fans and with regards to how tough our opening home fixtures are (I’ve bet on Sheff Weds to be in the playoffs this year). Bit of a baptism of fire for Le Bris.
Good record at Cardiff recently, nice European trip to kick off for the biggest club in the north east too
Firs round of tv games up to the end of September will be released within 7 days. The TV fixtures up to the FA Cup third round will be released before the season kicks off
How come our first midweek game isn't until October? Is this just getting back to normal after the congested fixtures with covid and the euros/world cup. Always thought there was a few midweek early doors
I thought there was more league fixtures midweek at the earlier part of the season. It's probably good news there isn't, it'll give Le Bris more time on the training pitch
Not impressed, got to go to Cornwall September 21st for family commitments and we play at Plymouth the week before on the 14th.
Unfortunately daughter is a nurse and can't get the extra time off. Also used to live and work down there for many years so not really a favourite holiday spot.
From the opening day fixtures, it looks like that even with the "more games to watch" Sky are pushing, there actually won't be. It looks like there will be more CHOICES of games to watch at the same time they've always been.
