Leaving Maguire has clearly proved a big mistake. A few corners and set pieces. Expect one of those would've hit his head and gone in.

Yeah I'm only joking in the main. We're through and that's all that actually matters, plenty of teams have been terrible in the groups and just start playing later on - I think it was Germany in the 90's who used to comment that the tournament doesn't start until the knock-out stages.

For the last 15 minutes of that game I was actually watching Denmark - Serbia instead as both games seemed boring and in that game all I needed was for nothing to happen. It felt rewarding watching time tick down with no incidents whatsoever. It's a shame that I'll have to resort back to actually watching England for the next ones.
