As Hamish already said, is light years better defensively and positionally - at the moment

Positionally and defensively in your opinion and nothing else regardless... I don't know what more information or how more reasonable I can be on this.... I've said you can both have your opinion.

You've even said you'd pick Hall now anyway... I'm saying I'd have picked him all season or at least the moment disasters started... B was defensively ****.

We improved dramatically when Hall finally came into the side... it's very simple we all saw it.

Not sure it was noticed, but I'll say this again ... he's going to be England's left back in a few years time.

He’s also scored a couple of decent goals.

He's a top player mate .. 30 million for a 19 year old that stood out enough to play 1st team football at Chelsea.

People were saying it was a mistake...same with Gordon and now with Lewin, but they're being bought because they're better than what's already here in the main.

If it is just them then we should get him. Unfortunately.

I have to say I think it’s a huge risk.

Joe willock is a better player than Gallagher it's just a shame about his injury situation... that said even if he kept playing as brilliantly as he did all last season he wouldn't get an England call up ahead of anyone no matter how **** they play.

Lyon now in the mix for Minteh...isn't there a player of interest there? Fancy footwork type of interest that can play right wing <confused>

Please don't sell to Everton.

We will sell to Everton. And buy DCL, and then he will get a serious injury. Miss the full season and Minteh scores and assists more than Gordon.

I suspect Lewin might be ok now...if he is I genuinely think he's very good signing. It's something the side lack in certain games and situations.

His hold up play is good , he's very good in the air and he's just a bit of a handful quite frankly.

Another thing we must consider is the fact he's probably saying yes to come here which is nice and he's saying yes I'll come to play second fiddle to isak...not many will take that on.

I personally rate Hall overall over Burn. But that’s because I think he’s developed well under how.

Positionally he is weaker for sure.

But Burn has gone backwards last season. As did Trippier. And the club have done well getting in Hall and Livermento who I think are both exceptional talents.
You mean in the transfer window which has been slated by a few posters as being really bad. You’d almost get the impression that some people at the Club actually know what they’re doing.

It was bad. Hall barely played til the end, and we had countless minutes for crap like Dubravka, Longstaff, Anderson, Almiron, Murphy and even Krafth, Ritchie, Dummett and Lascelles!! That Livramento is good sub for Trippier and Barnes can run a bit when Gordon’s knackered doesn’t make for a great window, particularly given the UCL qualification.

Have you seen the links to Jack Harrison?

Like Coady I can only hope it’s a wind up. I’m still trying to work out where Chelsea got £30m for this Brazil kid and where Everton - fresh from charges - are finding money for Minteh.

I really hoped this would be a good window but it looks like we’re ending up with Kelly, Trafford, DCL and probably a Dan James or Jack Harrison winger “solution”. **** the ****ing bed that’d be atrocious. What would the r likes of Isak and Bruno think?! They may not go this summer, but it’ll definitely be their last season. We’ll replace with Gallagher and Solanke.

We're are giving them the money to buy Minteh

Surely Newcastle have an ace up their sleeve somewhere.
